UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin
Vancouver is an amazing city to do almost anything! Now it will host the UFC. Well it doesn't get much better than that! Not unless we're talking about Toronto!! Man have you ever been to Toronto?? All I can say is go...you're not likely to be disappointed!
Sorry for the Toronto plug but man I've got stories...
But as main events go, UFC 115 appears to be cashing in on popularity far more so than current ability.
I love future Hall of Famer's the Iceman and Rich Franklin but:
- Neither has a title.
- Both are past their prime.
- Neither fighter is in the mix for a title at 205lbs.
- Chuck is 1-4 in his last 5 fights with his latest 2 being back to back KO's.
- Chuck posted a naked work out video and didn't warn us...That's just wrong!
And I see nothing that suggests that the situation has significantly changed.
Dana initially said that he would never allow Chuck to fight again in the UFC but apparently fighter pressure, fan appeal and the almighty dollar created a change of heart or at least opponents.

Agree with your assessment of the main event. Can't help myself though, got into MMA thanks to Chuck, I'll always watch him, and always root for him, even against someone I like, such as Rich.
But I gotta say the other fights on this card more than compensate. Paulo Thiago is back for another upset. We'll see if Cro Cop can get back in the mix. Condit is always entertaining. I can't wait for this one.
