What did I learn from Strikeforce in Miami
What did I learn about:
Bobby Lashley is just in his infancy when it comes to MMA. His chosen approach to take 'baby steps' is well conceived.
Herschel Walker may be the most athletic 47 yo man on the planet. He's a special athlete but an ordinary MMA talent (when no exceptions are given for his age). He like anyone needs years of training to develop an adequate skills set but unfortunately father time is not on his side. All in all...much respect to you sir.
Cris Santos is the worlds best woman fighter (of any weight class). MMA fans should give her the respect that she has earned. She should be considered in any serious discussion of the top 20 p4p fighters on the planet...male or female.
Nick Diaz is a excellent fighter. The Diaz brother's brash, street punk personae rub many fans the wrong way. Fair enough. But any dislike for their public style should not taint the evaluation of their tremendous MMA skills.

What did I learn from Strikeforce in Miami?
The Organization, (IN MY OPINION) comes across as CHEAP and CLASSLESS!!
Case in point… here are a few ‘reported salaries’ as quoted in MMA MANIA,
Feb. 03/2010) for this fight.
Herschel WALKER $ 600.00 … good thing he won (not much going to charity in this case).
Marius Coenen $ 2,000 for getting the ‘stuffing’ beat out of her against Cris ‘Cyborg’ SANTOS.
Shame on everyone involved with this promotion, if these reported facts are accurate.
