Tough week to be Strikeforce in the Entertainment World

If you are a sports fan Miami is the place to be for the next week!! While a lot of the US is dealing with cold weather and gray skies. Miami is all sun and fun.

Strikeforce MMA tonight, NFL Pro Bowl tomorrow and the Super Bowl next Sunday...and did I mention partying on South beach?

Strikeforce's MMA show tonight should be well attended by sports stars and their bevy of beauties in tow but most of those tickets are freebies better known as 'comps'.

Sports Economics 101: hot girls and zillionaire sports stars don't pay for much.

Strikeforce has an interesting card with: the always controversial Nick Diaz, the devastating Cris Cyborg, Robbie Lawler v. Melvin Manhoef, Bobby Lashley v 'whoever they could find' and the much anticipated debut of Herschel Walker.

Too bad that a card this good and an organization as well respected as Strikeforce will get treated like an ugly duckling. When the competition is South beach, the Pro Bowl and the Super bowl it's hard to be seen as much else.

And did I mention the Grammy's are this weekend in LA?

Bad for Strikeforce and good for us.

Regardless of Strikeforce's potential financial misfortune, there should be great action for viewing both inside and outside the cage...if you know what I mean!
