Urijah Faber fighting for more than a win at WEC 46
Urijah Faber is one of my most favorite fighters. But despite whatever I may think of him as fighter, he is in a precarious spot tonight at WEC 46.
No doubt he is one of the most popular athletes in MMA but when was the last time he won a meaningful fight? Forever it seemed like he couldn't be beaten but now I find it hard to name his last significant win.
As much as I hate to say it, If Urijah doesn't come up BIG tonight his career is in BIG trouble. And I don't think that his more than capable opponent, Raphael Assuncao (14-1), is going to just roll over for him.
Without an impressive win tonight, it is virtually impossible to consider the California kid in the elite mix of the WEC.
