God Bless Free (or at no additional charge) MMA
Saturday night has rapidly become fight night in America. With HBO boxing, UFC, Strikeforce, WEC, CBS, Showtime, Versus and Spike all doing their parts (both large and small), the day before Sunday has become a combat sports enthusiasts' favorite day of the week.
Dec. 19th is no exception; Showtime has a strong card and Versus (even though I'm on Direct TV and no longer get Versus) has the WEC in action. I don't get into the discussion on which network has the superior line up. In my eyes, neither costs an additional $49.95, so who am I to question.
A free high-quality MMA show is a much welcomed stocking stuffer in my house. And the only thing better than one cool gift is two cool gifts in my book.
I say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Feliz Navidad and Asalaam Alakum to all of us who feel the holiday pinch and appreciate this terrific freebie.
