Kimbo Slice is a UFC winner...WOW or Ugh!!
Kimbo Slice won in a lackluster performance against an even more unimpressive Houston Alexander last night on the Ultimate Fighter Finale.
Houston Alexander's strategy of circling and arguing but not fighting coupled with Kimbo's inability to cut off the octagon and still deficient ground skills made a potentially explosive slug fest on paper merely 14 out of 15 minutes of dog tired stare down.
Kimbo is slowly improving as a mixed martial artist. His time at American Top Team certainly was on display but he needs to eat, sleep and drink in their training facility and find a bigger gas tank... if he wants to continue on the big stage.
Kimbo Slice appears to me to be a far bigger draw than he is a MMA talent. Let me put it a different way. I don't think that Kimbo is in the UFC because of his MMA ability. And if this is really just a publicity gimmick, how is this UFC tactic any different than Pro Elite XC?
