Allen Iverson is back in Philly. I love it!! AI or 'Bubba Chuck', as I know him, looked out of place in any uniform other than a Sixers frock. "Practice... practice...I know we ain't talking about practice"!! Gotta love it!
Can you say Vince Young? The Titans under his leadership are only 5-0 and the latest beneficiaries of one of his patented last second miracles. The Titans play Indy this week, so 6-0 does not appear likely but nor is it impossible. If you ask me who would I rather have as QB, Peyton or VY? Peyton of course, I'm not crazy but you must respect what the kid from my hometown has battled back from.
For all of you out there that thought that Floyd would duck his potential day of reckoning with Pacquiao...for shame. That was an easy call. They don't call him 'Money' for nothing. A. Floyd believes that he will win and B. have you ever seen that much money? Be real. For that kind of money, that's an ass whipping that I would gladly take!
Not to say I told you so but I wrote an article about NBA baller Brandon Jennings skipping college and playing a year overseas as a professional. Fast forward a year later and the kid is lighting it up in Milwaukee of all places. Great high school basketball players are not looking to go to medical school. So a college degree is not a necessary prerequisite. As we all know, their future is in the NBA. So they can play against other kids for 1 year in college or they can play against seasoned professionals overseas and make a few more bucks than they would have made in college. It's not the correct move for every child prodigy but Brandon Jennings is making a compelling case for the latter.
With so many of the superstars unable to compete are we in the MMA doldrums or what?
