UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin...That's all you got?
UFC 106 proves that names sell fights; certainly not talent level.
Without question, Tito Ortiz is a MMA legend and Forrest Griffin is a fan favorite. But Tito is coming off major back surgery and hasn't won a fight in 3 long years. Griffin has lost 4 of his last 8 fights including the last 2 in back to back stoppages (TKO/KO).
I'm not throwing salt on their games...just stating fact.
Is the return of Tito Ortiz interesting? Yup. And is Forrest Griffin a mediocre fighter but a hit with the fans. Yup, Yup.
But is this the best talent on the card?
Not even close.

This time I agree with you Dr. J... at best this is a co-main event, but not a card headliner. With as much talent as the UFC has, I can't figure out how Dana and company couldn't do a little better.
