Who really believes that she killed Steve McNair?
Apparently, I am not the only one who believes that we haven't heard the whole truth in the vicious murders of Steve McNair and Sashel Kazemi. What we heard was the quick and easy explanation to a horrific and embarrassing crime.
The CBS Early Show is running a two-part investigative report on inconsistencies in the police investigation. It appears that the police's reported time line of events was flawed, friends and relatives that spoke with Kazemi on the day of the murders state that she was anything but distraught and her bank account shows that she had $2,500, more than enough to pay her bills (phone text message records reveal that the money most likely came from McNair).
Just doesn't sound like the recipe for a murder-suicide to me.
Steve McNair certainly used particularly poor judgment in his personal life but that doesn't mean that he or Ms. Kazemi deserved to have their lives brutally ended... nor should their two families have been forced to bear such agony.
