Lebron James treated for H1N1 (swine flu)...what does that mean for the rest of us?

King James and several of his Cav's teammates were treated at the at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic for H1N1 (swine flu)
.

Lebron stated "I can't remember ever being that sick".

My thoughts:

1.  If Lebron James ( an A-lister thats rich enough to get the best of everything) gets swine flu are we doing enough to protect ourselves from this and other contact illnesses?  No we are not.  Hand washing is effective but inconvenient in many circumstances.  Soap and running water are not always handy.  Alcohol based hand sanitizers (Purell) are no longer effective once they dry; leaving you vulnerable.

2.  If a physical specimen like Lebron says that he's never been so sick swine flu and your personal protection/hygiene should not to be taken lightly.--Correct.

3.  If the rich and powerful get the Cleveland Clinic for care, what do the rest of us get?  Potentially scary thought for those that aren' fortunate enough to have health insurance.  We get whatever our local hospital can muster  which unfortunately my vary widely.  But what about the 50 or so million uninsured souls in America?  They may get delayed care in an over crowded and under resourced ER.   God be with them and guess who pays the bill?
