WR Michael Crabtree finally signs with 49ers

Thank you Jesus.

Someone finally talked some sense into Michael Crabtree and he signed his name on the dotted line so that he can receive a hefty paycheck.  I'm sure that his advisors realized that they couldn't get paid until he got paid.

The only thing that the young man accomplished was missing out on 4 paychecks.  The San Francisco 49ers were 3-1 without him and the world had not stopped spinning.

I understand that Michael is a fine young man but he needs to take a long look in the mirror then fire and sue his advisors.  Doesn't he read the paper or internet, watch the evening news or do anything other than play Madden '10?

My man, there is a serious recession on and people are out of work and losing their homes left and right.

Michael, be careful with your millions of dollars, pay your tithe, care for your family in a reasonable but not extravagant manner and hire a new agent and some competent money managers.

Most of all, change your attitude and be thankful for your blessing.

His hold-out never made sense to me. I know the the threat of sitting out a year and going back into the draft was just negotiating tactics but that never made sense to me. I don't know of 1 athlete that has held-out and went back in the draft the next year and made more money because of it. So I am not really sure how the threat of doing so gets him any leverage in negotiations.
