NFL commissioner to Michael Vick..."Who's your daddy"'?

Through the partial reinstatement of Michael Vick, the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has reminded every NFL player, in no uncertain terms who's the BOSS.

He basically said "You're grounded and you can go outside and play with your friends again, when I'm damn sure ready and not until then!"

Michael Vick committed a crime, was judged in a court of law, went to federal prison for 23 months, lost tens of millions of dollars forcing him to file for bankruptcy and his reputation.  But Roger Goodell apparently doesn't feel that he was punished enough.

The NFL commissioner answers to his employer only, the NFL owners.  The commissioner through a personal conduct clause in the collective bargaining agreement can punish players as he sees fit.

The NFL commissioner is almighty.  He is a 1-person judge, jury and executioner.

Sound like a fair system to you?

Roger Goodell had two years to make a decision on reinstating Michael Vick. There is no apparent reason why he can't announce an exact date Michael will be allowed to appear in an NFL game.He is a good person that made a poor decision and deserves to be reinstated without conditions. What ever happened to double jeopardy? Rodger Goodell thinks he's sending a message to the league that he's the BOSS, but he himself has to answer to a higher authority, while he's in the process of being overly judge mental. I'm positive Rodger has quite a few skeletons in his closet, because anyone who places so much emphasis on another person's conduct has something even more sinister to hide. I can hardly wait for the covers to be snatched away from him. Michael will most likely miss at least 25 percent of the season, and unfortunately Rodger is in a position to extend the suspension as he see fit. He wants Michael to fail; however, that will never happen, because prayer not only changes things, it changes people and I seal that in the name of Jesus. I feel Michael didn't owe Rodger an apology. He wasn't being compassionate or lenient with Michael. Rodger is playing Russan Rulet with this man's life. His decision to place conditions on Michael's life is not only personal, but outright vindictive. It goes to show that people who are too weak to follow their own dreams will always try to find a way to discourage yours. Only a COWARD kicks a man when he is already down.
