GSP and Brock Lesnar. Two distinctly different personalities but I lke them both
It would be hard to find a more humble, gracious and respectful superstar in the world of MMA than Georges St. Pierre. Conversely, Brock Lesnar's in your face aggressiveness is hard to ignore. Curiously, I am a fan of both.
I like GSP because of all of the above. He represents what you want a kid to learn from MMA and sports in general; sportsmanship, hard work and respect for the art. Who wouldn't want their athletic child to emulate GSP? He should be the poster boy for MMA in its efforts toward legalization and world-wide marketing.
Brock Lesnar keeps it real. If he doesn't like a guy and wants to whip that ass, he makes it personal. He speaks his mind and responds to the boo's. He is a major breath of fresh air in this homogenized, sanitized, image conscience world that we live in.
GSP and Brock approach their public persona very differently but that's just part of what makes MMA so great. There is room for a diverse cast of characters, as long as they can consistently bring it!!
