My friend Arturo Gatti is gone

I don't know how much more of this that I can take.

First Steve McNair whom I had the utmost respect for but had only met in passing and now my dear, dear friend Arturo.

Early internet chatter is making claims of foul play but I couldn't care less.  All I know is that my friend is gone.

It doesn't even seem real...not Arturo.

He was so happy with the birth of his son and watching his beautiful daughter Sophia grow.  He finally seemed to be enjoying his life and slowing down to soak it all in.

Please pray for his family.

Also please keep Pat Lynch and Jolene Mizzone in your prayers as well.

Thunder will be greatly miss. I remember his match against Ward, it was one the greatest fights of all time. Totally inspirational. They were going at it blow for blow during round 9. Thunder never gave up heart and determination. That was truly the fight of the century. Thunder your candle blew out way to soon. May god bless your family in their time of loss. It seems as if this is the year for the death of a celebrity.
