Is it really worth your health?

Would you take a substance that may wreck your health to become a multi-million dollar athlete?  Would you take it to get a Division-1 scholarship?  Would you take it just to look at yourself in the mirror?  Would you take it because everyone else is?

Apparently, a lot of people are willing to dance with the devil.  The use of performance enhancing drugs continues with little sign of slowing down.  The funny thing is that many people who choose to use these substances aren't performing for much reward (real or potential).

It's what's known as the 'folly of youth'.   Many want to be forever young but there is no free lunch.  One day the bill always comes due.  And that's when reality hits and the bargaining truly starts.

I've heard people often say that "if they paid me what he's making I'd take that stuff too".  I believe you would.

Unfortunately, one day (not so long from now) when your kidneys fail what song will you sing then?  Being the 'man' is great until the shuttle van picks you up for dialysis every Mon-Wed- Fri for the rest of your shortened life.

Every person thinking about injecting themselves with the latest cycle of designer steroids should visit a dialysis center and ask the happy patrons what's more valuable, being the 'MAN' (however you define it) or 2 properly functioning kidneys?

Have you ever seen liver failure?  It's not pretty either.
