March Madness is upon us...thankfully!
Football is over. Baseball is in spring training; which means that the guys that you paid your hard earned money to see will only play a couple of innings, if at all. And for most of America, spring is not quite in effect and the weather is still a bit harsh. (I live in sunny Florida. No weather worries here...well not yet, at least)
Thank God for the NCAA basketball tourney. I happen to believe that it is the single best annual sporting event.
March Madness has it all: tradition, school pride, historic rivalries, Davids vs. Goliaths, Cinderellas, last second heroics and heartache, friendly trash talk, conspiracy theories (especially Duke), office pools and bracketology.
Filling out your bracket for the $2 office pool is truly American...legal or not.
