Terrell 'TO' Owens is done in Dallas
Apparently the Dallas Cowboys have cut their ties with #81 Terrell Owens. I guess Jerry Jones felt that ridding his club of TO's perceived locker room cancer was more valuable than his awesome on field talent.
Let me state for the record that I am NOT a TO hater...actually I kinda like the guy.
He works extremely hard. He's a gamer. He's one helluva football player. He's physically tough as nails. Has a very strong desire to win. Doesn't appear to be a liar. Doesn't spew profanities during interviews.
He also speaks his mind, which is refreshing in this era of media darlings that are more concerned about endorsements than taking a stand about the genocide in Darfur. Nowadays, many athletes wouldn't publicly say that they love their mother if they thought it may potentially cost them an endorsement dollar.
Unfortunately, TO wears his heart on his sleeve and speaks without considering the full potential impact of his words. Where I'm from it's called 'talking out the side of your neck'...and sooner or later people get tired of it...and you.
