Is it Alex Rodriguez or MLB that's truly tainted?

Alex Rodriguez is the latest poster child for the steroid controversy in Major League Baseball.  Remember when it was Jose Canseco, Mark McGuire, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Roger Clements, Jason Giambi blah, blah, blah?

When is someone going to state the pitifully obvious?  MLB, during some period of time, was (maybe still is) a performance enhancing drug (PED) fueled culture.

There you go... I said it.

It makes great press to vilify the star players but why does MLB and team executives continue to get a pass?  They knew (and if you believe that they didn't know you're naive) or they should have known...point blank...period.

MLB and team executives had absolutely nothing to gain by doing anything about PED use or exposing the dirty little 'not-so-secret' secret.  But to the contrary, they had a great deal to lose.  During the late '90's and early 2000's, MLB was marketing the home run derby and throwback uniforms. Get money, money, money.

MLB has always been about cheating.  Black Sox, corked bats, spit balls, grease balls, nail files, sand paper, falsified birth certificates and the list goes on and on.

Forget A-Rod and the others.  Major League Baseball has a long history of dirty dealing.  Until that's addressed...give me a break!!
