Superbowl XLIII Steelers vs Cardinals...where's the drama?
I hate to say it. And maybe I just don't get it. I know it's the Superbowl (and I'll watch) but where is the sizzle? Where's the drama? Where is the must see TV?
The Steelers are a Hall of Fame franchise. No doubt about it. They have loyal fans and a storied tradition. Yes sir, the Steelers are legendary...but I already knew that.
The Cardinals are on an amazingly, unexpected ride. They are a franchise that has been an NFL afterthought for their entire existence. (Chicago, St. Louis and now residing in the desert of Arizona...that's a trivia question if I've ever heard one) I don't think that the Cards are on the brink of a football dynasty. I get that too.
Is it David vs. Goliath? Is it the little engine that could? Hell, is it even Rudy? Nope. It's none of the above.
Just say, you didn't grow up a life-long Steelers' fan and no one grew up a life-long Cardinals' fan...answer this question honestly.
If the Steelers were playing the Cardinals in week 5 of the NFL regular season would you watch or choose another game to view?
