Does Chad Dawson stand between Antonio Tarver and his desired destiny?

Antonio Tarver has been a great champion in the light heavyweight division.  He knocked out the amazing Roy Jones, Jr. in the legendary "any excuses now, Roy" fight.  He then backed it up by winning the rubber match.

He avenged his loss to the 'Road warrior' Glen Johnson.  A man no one wants or likes to fight.

He starred with Rocky in a $100+ million dollar movie.  He is one of the most articulate athletes in the world...definitely one of the most articulate boxers.  He won an ESPY.  He has a very respectable game of golf (I should know).  He has his health, a beautiful family and is financially secure. This is a man with many options once he decides to hang up the gloves.

He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone...but he may want to prove something to himself.

Chad Dawson is many of the things that Antonio once was...young, hungry, not wealthy and pissed that he was avoided by the boxing elite for so long (and he's a nice kid to boot).

Chad handled Antonio decidedly in early November at the Palms in Las Vegas.  I should know.  Antonio is my friend. I was there.  Now a rematch is looming for Spring '09.

I must ask- why will this outcome be any different?

Only Antonio Tarver can dig deep and answer that question.
